Was the Stone of the Tomb Already Rolled Away When the Women Arrived?
The Gospel accounts of the stone at Jesus' tomb are examined: Mark, Luke and John find it already rolled away, while Matthew describes an angel moving it. The article demonstrates that these accounts are complementary rather than contradictory.
Matthew 28.1-6 (King James Version) :In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.King James Version (1769), domaine public — texte : eBible.org

The miraculous deliverance of the apostles
This article examines the miraculous deliverance of the apostles (Acts 5.19-21) in Jerusalem in the spring of 33. Arrested by the high priest and the Sadducees, the apostles are freed from prison by an angel during the night. Luke relates this miracle with restraint, stressing its theological significance and its parallels with the Old Testament. The angel entrusts the freed apostles with the mission of announcing in the Temple 'all the words of this life', an expression referring to the message of salvation in Jesus Christ.
